This will acknowledge your letter of June 4 enclosing
the transcript of the conversation with Mr. Wilkins.
We are in the process of checking for errors. At the

is in session in Washington and will run until june 28. There-
fore we will not have an opportunity to finish checking the
transcript until after the 29th of June. However, you may be
assured that we will do this as quickly as possible and get it
back to you early in July.
With best wishes,
P.S. Under separate cover we are forwarding two recent publications
of the NAACP, "Negro Heroes of Emancipation" and "Speeches by the
Leaders of the March on Washington" which may be of interest to you.
