Dear Dr. Clark:
I am very grateful for your letter, and for your willingness to see me. You propose April 7 as a possible day for you. Would 10:30 in the morning be convenient? And if so, could I pick your brains for an hour and a half or so, and then lure you out to lunch? I suggest morning, since I have a “:30 appointment with Mr. Wilkins. But if morning of April 7 will not be good for you, shall we take your next date, April 16, at any time after 10:30 -- just so we could wind up in time for me to catch the 6:02 back to Connecticut?
I look forward most eagerly to talking with you. Many thanks!
Very sincerely yours,
Robert Penn WarrenCollapse
