Dear Dr. Warren:
Please accept my apologies for not answering your last letter.
As previously, I turned it over to Mr. Jesse Morris for documented facts. Mr. Morris is a staff person with the Council of Federated Organizations, 1017 Lynch Street, Jackson, Miss. His involvement with his own hectic program and travel within the state and out also has delayed a reply. If it is not too late for the answers to your questions, you may wish to telephone him direct or someone on the Cofo staff, for answers.
Have been anxious to read your wife’s book. The promised copy never arrived. If not yet mailed would you both autograph it for us?
Dean Harvey joins me in best wishes to you & your family.
Cordially yours,
[signature, Clarie Collins Harvey]
Mrs. Martin L. Harvey
P. S.
Womanpower United has continued its Food Project for all workers until recently. WU is working closely with the children and families of the children in desegregated schools. Also WU raised money for Johnson campaign. And so it goes.
Nov. 19 & 20 I shall be in Atlanta for Southern Regional Council meet.
THANKS FOR YOUR GENEROSITY.
