E. C. Harrison, Dean of Southern University (where Warren's interviewee Felton G. Clark is president) sends regrets that Warren is unable to speak at their 1964-5 lecture series and hopes that he will be able to come the following year. Speakers for 1964-5 include Whitney Young (one of Warren's interviewees).

We are sorry, indeed, that you will not be able to
participate in the 1964-65 Lecture Series at Southern University.
However, we re looking forward to your visit next year with
great expectation. If it is alright with you, I will contact
you in September regarding the possibility of your visiting
Southern University during the spring of the 1965-66 school
year.
It might interest you to know that the following persons
are participants in the Lecture Series for this year: Dr.
Eli Ginsberg, December 11; Ambassador Franklin H. Williams,
February 15; Dr. Max Lerner, March 17; Dr. Whitney M. Young,
Jr., April 5; Mr. Granville Hicks, April 14.
