I was joined in the ditch by Cleveland CORE members, including a blind hero, Charles Burton, who participated in every one of our demonstrations. My husband, Antoine Perot, Jr., (although we were not married then) was also on the scene as Cleveland CORE’s Action Committee Chairman.
