Dear Mr. Warren:
I just happened to check the carbon of the letter I sent to you and noticed that really inexplicable mistake with your name. I can only say in excuse of myself that things are very hectic around here right now, and your letter was written late at night when I was in a stage of fatigue. Please forgive me, and I hope to hear from you soon.
With every good wish.
Yours Very Sincerely,
[Signed]
Mike Thelwell
PS: I have not had an opportunity to read Flood but a friend of mine
whoes judgement I respect says it is a good and valuable
book. I hope that it meets the critical and public acclaim that he
says it merits.
